 2010 Parking and Camping Rules

No Unauthorized Golf Carts!     No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed! 

 

 PARKING

 1.  Positively no campers, motor homes, horse or stock trailers are permitted to park overnight in the center-field of the race track for the duration of the fair.  Violators of this rule will have trailers towed at their expense.
 2.  Muskingum County Fair exhibitors are not permitted to leave horse and stock trailers on the fairgrounds.
 3.  NO PARKING PERMITTED IN  BARN AREAS AT ANYTIME.
 4.  Limited handicap parking available for those with State of Ohio Handicapped Parking Permit.
 

 PREFERRED PARKING

 1.  Preferred Parking (on the hill) is available for $75 per space.  Each space will be assigned a vehicle tag to allow entry into Gate #1.  Those persons leaving the fair may purchase a season's pass at the secretary's office or pay the $8.00 admission fee each day they enter the fairgrounds.
 2.  Preferred Parking Spaces for 2010 fair will be sold on a first come, first serve basis only by contacting the fair office at (740) 453-3068.  Having a Prefered Parking Space at the 2009 fair, Does Not guarantee a space at the 2010 fair.
 3.  Make checks payable to and mail to:  Muskingum County Fair  P.O Box 2176   Zanesville, Ohio  43702-2176

CAMPING

 Camping is available at the 2010 Muskingum County Fair at a cost of $125.00 per space.  Those who rented a space in 2009 may reserve a space for 2010 by sending payment in full by July 1, 2010.  If payment in full is not received by July 1, 2010, your space will not be reserved.  Please send payment to Muskingum County Fair P.O. Box 2176, Zanesville, OH 43702-2176.
 
 CAMPERS MY BE PARKED AS FOLLOWS: 
 Wednesday, August 11th from 5-9 pm.
 Thursday, August 12th from 5-9 pm.
 Friday, August 13th from Noon-9 pm.

 THE FOLLOWING RULES AND GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED:

  1.  Camping fee covers the camping space and electric only.  Please furnish your own grounded three wire cord.  Sorry, no water.  Those persons leaving the fair may purchase a season's pass at the secretary's office or pay the $8.00 admission fee each day they enter the fairgrounds.
 2. All campers will be within their assigned spaces and placed on the right side of the space.
 3.  There will be a pass assigned for one vehicle per camping space to hang on the rear-view mirror of your vehicle that will correspond to a pass that must be displayed in the front window of your camper facing the road.  You must designate which vehicle will be used throughout the week.  Any unauthorized vehicle will be towed.  Passes can be picked up at the fair office.
 4.  Additional "Perfered Parking" spaces may be leased outside of the camping area fence for $75.00 each.  (see above)
 5.  Curfew for campers will be the same as announced nightly for the fair midway.
 6.  No open fires are permitted.
 7.  No air conditioners may be run.
 8.  No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the fairgrounds during the fair.
 9.  One electrical outlet is provided per camping space, no additional items may be plugged in.
 10.  No pets of any kind are allowed in the camping areas except service dogs for the visually impaired.

 11.  No subletting is permitted.

 12.  Failure to use assigned campsite or transfer site without written approval of the Fair Board Directors in charge of camping will result in loss of camping privileges.

 13.  The use of bicycles, golf carts, ATV's or any other motorized vehicles of any kind is not allowed without the written permission of the Muskingum County Fair Board.

 14.  Quiet hours are from 12:00 am (midnight) until 6:00 am.  All unnecessary lights must be out and sound producing items must be reduced to a satisfactory level.

 15.  All campsites must be accompanied by an adult.

 16.  Anyone allowing gray water or sewage to be discharge onto the ground is subject to immediate dismissal.
 17.  Slide-outs and awnings will be allowed if they do not extend past the boundaries of your lot.
 18.  Fire lanes are to be kept open at all times.  Cooperate for your own safety and protection.  No hay or straw in camping area.
 19.  The Camping Committee chairman will rule on any questions not covered in these rules and guidelines
 20.  It is your responsibility to know and understand all of the rules of the Muskingum County Agricultural Society. Please speak with any fair board director if you have any questions.
 21.  The Muskingum County Agricultural Society reserves the right to cancel a lot contract at anytime and reserves the right to refuse or reject any applications for camping, and will not be held responsible for accidents of any sort.
